Baidu Algorithm Update: Beacon
Crack down on hijacking Baidu Mobile Search launches beacon plan.
Recently, Baidu Mobile Search received reports from users:
When visiting a search result from the Baidu SERP and returning to the search results page afterwards, they would enter a fake Baidu Mobile search results page.
This page simulates the homepage of Baidu search results, but it is actually a malicious false risk site. There are great security risks in user access, which seriously affects users.
In response to this situation, Baidu Mobile Search launched the Beacon Anti-hijacking Plan (hereinafter referred to as the Beacon Plan) to intervene in the problematic sites and make every effort to crack down on behaviors that undermine the user experience and security.
At the same time, other sites are also requested to check the content of the website as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary losses.
Baidu Mobile Search has contacted the website owners to explain the situation, and does not rule out solving problems through legal channels.
